Yesterday morning the Luas Safety Forum 2016 took place at Red Cow Hotel.
Introduced by Barry O’Hanlon, Ciaran Brown from TII spoke about the progress of recent LCC works.
Followed by our very own Eamonn O’Modhrain & Dave Rooney who presented some the challenges faced during the Luas Cross City project.
Louis O’Donoghue gave us an update on the Green Line Capacity Enhancement Project, specifically about the longer trams and extended platforms on Luas Green Line.
We had the two Keith’s – Keith Hobbs from Transdev and Keith Machale from Transit9 show us the new Service Delivery Management System. For more info on the app see here: transit9.ie/transdev/
Garda Derek Coughley went through recent road incidents and the latest ‘Safer Roads For Dublin Campaign’.
Last but not least we had Transdev’s MD, Gerry Madden close the event with thanks to all who were involved in the organising of Luas Safety Forum 2016 and our plans to continue to strive towards safer roads for Dublin.
Thanks to all who attended the event, we look forward to seeing you at Luas Safety Forum 2017.
