Louis sends his best wishes to all for the New Year. He also takes time to thank Transdev employees for the exceptional work carried out in what was a challenging year for all.
“Dear colleagues,
At the end of this exceptional year I would like to thank each of you for your great commitment!
2020 has been a difficult and challenging year both personal and business wise. We have been all worried by the COVID outbreak which has impacted our health and our lives. We have also lost nearly 50% of our passengers which has impacted significantly our financial performance.
In this context, I am extremely proud that we have been able to be faithful to our mission, serving the common good, while protecting our business.
We have shown that Public Transport is essential to our societies, notably by offering mobility solutions to the front-line essential workers. It has been our pride to keep operating under those circumstances.
This achievement was not possible without each of you. Your continuous engagement, your agility, your flexibility, your hard work and your willingness to serve our communities have been instrumental. Thank you warmly for your work.
2021 will be certainly a better year! Yet, some challenges will remain: we need especially to re-build trust with our passengers to bring them back onboard. At the same time we have to de-risk our business models and potentially to adapt our offer.
