The annual Transdev Luas Safety Forum took place on the 19th of September this year at Wynn’s Hotel Abbey Street, where the Red and Green Lines meet. The Safety Forum is an opportunity for all stakeholders involved in the safety of Luas to come together and look at enhancing Luas safety in a collaborative approach. The event was attended by our client Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), members of An Garda Síochána, the Commission for Railway Regulation (CRR), and many more. The speakers covered a range of topics around safety and positive psychology in the workplace, and included:
- Dr Jolanta Burke, Psychologist specialising in Positive Psychology
- Dr Ann Mills, Professional Head of Human Factors at RSSB
- Paul Blanchard, Motivational and Behavioural Safety Speaker
Paddy Devereux and David Joyce, Green and Red Line Customer Experience Managers also spoke about how safety is at the core of their work, and the importance of safety for our colleagues, our customers, and the public.
