Transdev Ireland sponsors the inaugural Dublin Green Communities Garden Photography Competition, which runs until August 21st this year. We are also encouraging staff to get involved by entering their own photos for our internal themed photo competition- Celebrating Biodiversity.
Transdev commits to limit our impact on biodiversity and the environment wherever possible. Biodiversity is biological diversity- the variety of wildlife, including plants, bugs, animals, and mammals, in an area or habitat. Biodiversity is extremely important in securing the health of the environment and the people depending on it. As an environmentally conscious transport operator, it essential that we do what we can to protect it.
The Green Communities initiative works towards empowering community groups to improve their local environment, enhance biodiversity and reduce their resource usage.
Did you know Kilmacud Luas stop on the Green Line has a pollenator-friendly wildflower area to encourage biodiversity?
