Transdev Dublin Light Rail (TDLR) has just been awarded the KeepWellTM Mark by Ibec – Ireland’s leading Business Employers Confederation. The Mark recognises the work employers do to keep employees well in the workplace.
Ibec assesses the numerous initiatives undertaken to ensure a healthy, productive workforce. The accreditation takes a holistic approach, focusing on eight key areas and how they impact our business.
Initiatives include smoking cessation, staying active, healthy eating, encouraging engagement with the Employee Assistance Programme, and mental health awareness.
This Mark certifies the work done by everyone in Transdev in Dublin, all the staff who participate and the many who suggest ideas and organise activities to help evolve our well-being projects.
The award was made following an onsite assessment which included a full review of the gathered evidence on wellbeing in the organisation. There was also one-to-one interviews and focus groups conducted with management and staff.
David Horgan, Director of HR, Ireland & UK, said “I encourage all our operations in Transdev to engage in health and wellbeing projects. Our employees contribute every day to the success of the company. This recognition of the positive steps we have taken and our plans for the future to improve our employee’s health and wellbeing is an achievement for our colleagues and for TDLR as an employer.”
